Clare County Childcare Committee invites you to attend a series of six ‘Aistear Cluster Group Sessions’ taking place in Ennis. These sessions are designed to support your implementation of Aistear in practice. There are two date options available: a Friday option and a Saturday morning option.

The Aistear Cluster group will be a mix of both formal and informal content, covering key aspects of Aistear implementation; a mix of workshop style combined with opportunities for you to discuss practice in relation to the theme being covered. All cluster groups are being facilitated by Clare County Childcare Committee. The number of participants will be limited to 15 and we will need a minimum of 12 in order to proceed.

It is recommended that you commit to the full six sessions cluster group. This facilitates you in building relationships with other practitioners working in the sector while also covering the key areas of Aistear implementation in sequence. Priority will be given to those who book the full six sessions. In addition, for those who commit to the full six sessions, there is an option to avail of onsite mentoring support. Availability of the onsite mentoring to complement the cluster group sessions is conditional on commitment to full attendance at all six sessions. Onsite mentoring support will also be based on a first come first served basis, as availability is limited.

You can see that the Venue for some of the Saturday dates is to be decided. If your service is based in Ennis and is willing to host a workshop, please do let us know as these Saturday workshops can only be run if a service will host them, thank you.

Please Note: The Aistear Cluster Group is aimed at those who have already attended the following Workshops:

• Síolta Aistear Introductory Workshop
• Siolta Aistear Practice Guide workshop

If you are interested in attending this cluster group sessions but have not completed the above workshops, we can run these workshops on Monday 24th September @ 1:30-4pm and Thursday 27th September @ 1:30-4pm. Delivery of these introductory workshops is dependent on a minimum of 15 people attending both.
